Aviators spread light across the face and stay useful from driving to a late afternoon outside. Wayfarer shapes feel firmer and photograph well with a simple shirt. Clubmaster frames add a brow line if you want the glasses to do more of the styling.
Hold them level. If one arm sits higher, they will annoy you by noon. Lenses should darken the view without turning the whole street gray green unless that is the color you chose. Gradient lenses help in a car. Solid lenses help at the beach and on bright sidewalks.
Keep one pair you will not baby. The sunglasses that live in a case upstairs are not the pair you wear. A matte black frame or a simple metal aviator belongs in the bag you already carry.
