Care / August 30, 2026
Cotton shirts want a gentle wash and a prompt hang. High heat is what kills the collar. Button the top button before the wash so the placket does not twist. Linen wrinkles. That is part of the cloth. Steam it, wear it, and skip the fight with a stiff press unless you want that look.
Knits should lie flat or fold over a bar. Hanging a heavy sweater from the shoulder stretches the neck before the season is over. Wash them less often than you think. Air and a rest day fix more than another cycle.
Leather bags and belts do not belong in a wash routine at all. Wipe them, keep them out of a soaked car, and do not store a belt bent hard in a tight coil. Sunglasses get a soft cloth, not a shirt hem full of grit.
Care is also why we keep the return window clear. If something is unworn and still tagged in spirit, you have 7 days. After that, treat the piece like something you plan to keep.
